We Provide Physical, Emotional and Spiritual Healing

Paradise Valley Hospital Behavioral Health Services is a Joint Commission-accredited program located on two campuses. We provide patient-centered care in a compassionate environment. Our family of highly-skilled, board certified physicians, nurses, therapists, social workers and staff are dedicated to helping our patients find hope and improve the health of their mind, body and spirit.

Our wide-ranging mental health services include:

  • free behavioral health screening and crisis evaluations
  • adult inpatient services
  • dual diagnosis program
  • partial hospitalization program
  • Outpatient Program Services allowing the individual to remain at work or with their family

The Paradise Valley Hospital campus and Bayview campus are both conveniently located off the 805 freeway in the South Bay.

Inpatient Services

Inpatient hospitalization gives the patient an opportunity to focus on life stressors away from the distractions of every day life in a safe, attentive environment.

Our services include:

  • Thorough assessment by psychiatrist, psychology staff, medical staff and social work staff
  • Daily meetings with psychiatrist
  • A safe, supportive and therapeutic environment supervised by professional staff
  • Individualized plan of care
  • Case management services
  • An active therapeutic program focusing on issues which lead to hospitalization
  • Art, music and recreational therapy
  • Group, individual and family therapy

Partial Hospitalization Program

Partial Hospitalization is provided 5-days-a-week to help our patients further stabilize and transition back into the community. This program is tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients in a safe, structured environment.

Our services include:

  • Free transportation to and from the program
  • Weekly meeting with psychiatrist and medical consults
  • Therapeutic treatment with professional staff
  • Art therapy, recreational therapy
  • Group psychotherapy
  • Individual, family and couples therapy as needed
  • Chemical Dependency groups
  • Breakfast or snack and hot lunch served daily

Outpatient Services

Once a client's symptoms are more stabilized, Outpatient Program Services is available and allows our clients to attend a therapeutic program up to three days per week while functioning in the community.

Our services include:

  • Free transportation to and from the program
  • Monthly meeting with a Psychiatrist
  • Therapeutic treatment with professional staff driven from the recovery model
  • Group psychotherapy
  • Groups to assist with transitioning into the community
  • Chemical Dependency groups
  • Breakfast or snack and hot lunch served daily
  • Weekly community outings
  • Weekend program
